Description
An abandoned plot on the edge of the town becomes a public park with paths, sports and play areas, shaded seating and planting chosen for the island's climate.
The detailed design brings together the landscape report, Natura 2000 habitat assessment, lighting and irrigation systems, structures, green public procurement criteria and DNSH checks. Island logistics – material supply, waste disposal, seasonality – were built into the programme from the start.
