Description
The C.da Trinità plant, built in stages between 1988 and 1994 for 21,000 population equivalent, had never been commissioned. The project brings it into service and upgrades it to the discharge limits of Legislative Decree 152/2006.
The feasibility design incorporated the requirements of the multi-agency conference led by the ATO 9 water authority, with opinions from the Sicilian River Basin Authority, ARPA Sicilia and the regional water and waste department. The detailed design improved the reliability, maintainability and safety of the treatment line, including the fire safety application.
The existing plant was surveyed by drone, combining aerial photogrammetry with inspections of each tank and structure.
